Spending time with friends over the weekend was fantastic. Saw people I hadn’t seen in months or years. Incredibly supportive interactions and talks. With some people, I talked about the changes I’ve been going through and how happy I was. It wasn’t a drama session or looking for support, just sharing something about what I’ve been up to. People were just amazing.

But those weren’t the only good times. Just being accepted and talking like friends do when you get together. I wasn’t the trans person, I was just Dawn. I was just someone they knew for ages and we just sat around, talked, ate, drank, and simply did what human beings need to do, be social with each other.

Three nights in a row (pretty insane for an introvert like me) of social interactions, and they were all so great. 🩷 🏳️‍⚧️
